QUEENSBURY NY — Harry R Spahn Jr., 83, of Queensbury, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at The Pines at Glens Falls with his loving family by his side.

Born November 1, 1934 in Hollis, N.Y., he was the son of the late Harry R. Spahn Sr., and Marion S. (Smith) Spahn.

Harry R Spahn Jr was a former Warren County Sheriffs Deputy for the state of New York, and Uniform Court Officer for Warren County Family Court.

In addition to his parents, Harry was predeceased by one brother, Edward.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Janet; three children, Rebecca (John) Abell, Michelle (Greg) Burdick, and Harry (Katrina) Spahn III; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth, and Joshua Spahn; one great-grandchild, Arthur; a brother, Michael (Joan) Spahn; one Godchild, Donna M. Engle; a sister-in-law, Judy Spahn; a brother-in-law, Norman (Kathy) Duell; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special furry friend, Oliver.

Calling hours for Harry R Spahn Jr will take place Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Edward Suffern, pastor of Redeemer Reformed Presbyterian Church officiating.

Interment with military honors will take place Friday, June 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Warrensburg Cemetery.
