Barbara A MorrowGRANVILLE, NY – Barbara L Morrow, age 70, passed away unexpectedly at Saratoga Hospital on Sunday, September 23, 2018.

Barbara was born on October 30, 1947 in Granville, New York the daughter of the late Stanley and Marion (Aldous) Braymer.

She was married to the love of her life, Donald Morrow for 54 wonderful years.

Barb enjoyed traveling and went to Virginia, California and Florida (Williamsburg, Disney and SeaWorld) with Donald and her family. She looked forward to more travel, especially going to the Bahamas, but that was not meant to be.

She loved spending time gardening and had beautiful gardens all around their property. Donald built her a gazebo, and she surrounded it with flowers. From there she could observe the horticulture and watch the birds enjoying the gardens, especially the hummingbirds, cardinals, and orioles.

Barb loved life with her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them at family and school events and having visits with them.

She was a collector. She had an extensive angel collection along with Will Moses prints. She was happy to be a contributor to a number of local charities; including the veterans and the local food pantry.

She was a member of the Revive Church in Poultney. She cherished her relationship with the members of the congregation.

Barb loved to plan and hold parties. She enjoyed the organizing and especially the decorating. When anyone in her family needed a party, they would call her and she would enjoy every minute of the process.

Barb loved family gatherings on holidays. She would cook elaborate meals and everyone would meet for amazing food and great conversation. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She would create a Christmas wonderland in her home, with decorations everywhere you looked. She so enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s faces as they opened their presents. She truly made Christmas special and magical for everyone.

Barb was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Richard. She is survived by her husband Donald, a daughter Susan Kirkland (Donald) of Granville, 2 sons; Robert Morrow of Queensbury and William Morrow Sr. (Michelle) of Hartford.
