Roger was born in Winooski, VT on November 30, 1929, the son of Felecien and Marie Ange (Marcotte) Thibault. He was married in Winooski to Florence (St. Gelais) Thibault on August 9, 1952.

Roger was a hard working man. Whether working on the dairy farm he grew up on, or providing for his family through 34 years at McKenzie’s Plant, right up to just weeks before his passing, he liked to keep busy, earning the endearing nickname, “Go Go Roger” from his wife Florence.

Florence was the love of his life and his best friend. They met at a dance. He was her first date and she was his first love. Theirs was a beautiful and enduring love whose marriage of 70 years was celebrated this past August.
They had 4 children who learned much from him and love deeply this man who loved them deeply. Though he was few on words he was big in heart and example.

After his family, his love of music and his music family kept him busy. He faithfully went to the Arrowhead Senior Center jam session in Milton every week for many years and also played his rhythm guitar weekly at several other senior living facilities.

Thibault, and Carol Ann Donna and her husband Tom; two grandchildren, Jamie Gratton, and Jessica Constable and her husband Brian; four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Savannah, Evan and Liam; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Paul and Jeannette Thibault, Claire Viens, Art Thibault, Lucien Thibault, Roland and Marie Thibault, Simonne Gratton, Eva Fountaine, Pauline Paquette, Yvonne Racicot, Maurice and Pauline Thibault, Emile and Sis Thibault, and Marie and Dave Specht; brothers-in-law, Leonard St. Gelais and Paul St. Gelais; sister in law, Irene Demmie; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, Felecien and Marie Ange Thibault and his brother John Thibault.
