GLENS FALLS NY — RuthAnn Hart, 67, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 after a long illness with COPD.
Born May 24, 1951 in Glens Falls, she was daughter of Bruce and Dorothy (Winslow) Smaldone.
RuthAnn graduated from South High in 1969, and then from Central City Business Institute of Syracuse in 1971.
She worked in customer service as a waitress at the Northway Diner, a CNA at Wesley, as well as being a candy maker. She also worked at Suttons Marketplace for many years.
RuthAnn loved her grandkids and great grandkids, flip flops, frogs, flower gardens, and warm weather. She also loved her coffee klatch trio!
In addition to her parents, RuthAnn was predeceased by her son, Anthony Hart.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tara Hart and her significant other, Steve Griffin of Gansevoort; grandchildren, Anthony Hart and his fiancé, Nicole Feola of Glens Falls, Jonathon Hart of Glens Falls, and Tyler Hart of Gansevoort; great-grandchildren, Anthony Hart Jr., and Jordan Hart of Glens Falls; sister, Mary Clear and her husband, Bob Clear of South Glens Falls.
Also cherishing her memory are her brothers, Mark Smaldone of North Carolina, and Richard Smaldone of South Glens Falls as well as several step-children, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and all her stuffed frogs.
A Celebration of Life BBQ will take place Saturday June 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at 150 Fort Edward Rd., Fort Edward, NY 12828.
