Jacqueline Anna Bouchey

Glenburn, ME – Jacqueline Anna “Jacky” Bouchey, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2019. She was born December 25, 1941, in Bangor, Maine.

She attended Bangor High School and Husson College. She raised her family in Glenburn. She was very active in Glenburn Summer Rec, Glenburn School Board, Glenburn PTA, Girl Scouts, Friends of Glenburn Library, Library book fairs, and volunteering for polls during voting in Glenburn.

She also volunteered as a teacher’s aide at Glenburn Elementary. She worked at Bangor Public Library, stenographer for Social Security judges, Fleet Bank, and Merrill Merchants Bank. Jacky dedicated her life to her children. She was a master of everything – from sewing and cooking to telling you how to invest your money. She was loved by her family, the community, and anyone that ever met her. She loved to play cards and spend time with family and friends at Pushaw Lake. She was the absolute rock of the family and at the core of her children’s lives.

Jacqueline Anna Bouchey is survived by five children; Pam McKay and husband Randy of Glenburn, Cindy Thibodeau and husband Chad of Glenburn, Robin Todino of Glenburn, Cheryl Fraser of South Mills, NC, David Bouchey of Glenburn and companion Rene; her sister, Nancy Ryan of Kenduskeag, ME, and companion Jerry Braley; her in-laws Paul and Carol Bouchey and Judy Baker; grandchildren, TJ Drake and wife Lindsey, Zachary Fraser, Daniel Bouchey, and Brooke Draper; many nieces and nephews, Melissa White, Jolene Cox, Sherry Gibbs, Dawn Hanson, Wayne Baker, Laurie Vigil, Brent Baker and their families. Also survived by close friends Barbara Ross, Ellen Ziobron, Val Smith, and Barbara Giovino. She was predeceased by her parents, Neal and Patricia Hamlin, by her grandson, Joshua McKay, her brother-in-law Bill Baker, her ex-husband, Garrel Bouchey and by her infant brother, David Hamlin.

A service in honor of Jacky’s life will be held 1 PM Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer, Maine. Messages and memories may be expressed through the kileyandfoley.com. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to your favorite charity.
