He later moved to Birmingham, AL where his love for Alabama football flourished. Since then, he has spent many years living in New River, AZ serving at Teen Challenge of Arizona, a faith-based organization, where he worked to help teens recover from their addictions and build a new life for themselves, just as he had. In his time at Teen Challenge, Geoffrey developed a deep and personal relationship with our Lord and Savior. It is there that he also gained the nickname “Bam” and friendships that would last a lifetime.

Bam - Geoffrey Brugh Braden Jr

The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came over me; I was overcome by distress and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the Lord: “Lord, save me!” The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the unwary; when I was brought low, he saved me.  Psalm 116:3-6 (NIV)

I am so sorry to see this. Geoffrey worked with me at Golds Gym & he meant a lot to us there. I was happy to see him over the holidays when he came to workout. I’d have come to visitation if I had known. I wish I could’ve been there for him. I love you Geoffrey. You’re free now. Good day, sir, I said good day! 😉

I met Geoff when I was in AZ Tucson. He will be dearly missed. Geoff had pure love in his heart, and for GOD. RIP brother.
